Yarn, needle size and other important info!
Please knit your beanies either flat or in the round with WASHABLE BLACK ARAN YARN. It can be any composition but it must be washable!
Please use UK SIZE 5 (5.5 mm) needles and if you are knitting flat, please sew up using mattress stitch.

COWL/NECK WARMER
This is an easy pattern, Cast on 100 stitches loosely and knit in 2 x 2 rib.
TO KNIT FLAT:
row 1: Knit 2, purl 2 until end.
Row 2: Purl 2, knit 2 until end.
Repeat until work measures 25cm/10 inches and then cast off.
Sew up seam into a tube, weave in the ends, wash and dry, and your neck warmer is complete!
TO KNIT IN THE ROUND:
Cast on 100 stitches loosely; place marker and join making sure not to twist the work.
Knit in 2 x 2 rib (2 plain, 2 purl) until work measures 25 cm/10 inches and then cast off. Weave in ends, wash and dry, and your neck warmer is complete!
